About this role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager/Senior Executive to support the administration and operational delivery of our newly launched Master of Science (MSc) in Game Design, Art, and Technology (GDAT). This role will be part of a dynamic team committed to academic excellence, student engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Work closely with Programme Co-Directors to support strategic planning, scheduling, budgeting, and the operational setup of the MSc in GDAT programme.
• Oversee and manage end-to-end student admissions, including outreach, application processing, interview coordination, appeals handling, and post-offer follow-ups.
• Manage course registration processes, coordinate curriculum updates, timetable scheduling, and liaise with the Office of Academic Services for cross-school registration matters.
• Guide and supervise a Senior Executive responsible for day-to-day activities such as enrolment, assessments, faculty hiring support, and final project submissions.
• Facilitate the submission of exam results and grades, ensuring accuracy and adherence to academic policies.
• Plan orientation programmes for new student intakes and respond to student queries and feedback in line with institutional protocols.
• Assist in the preparation, monitoring, and reporting of programme budgets to ensure effective resource use.
• Collaborate with internal departments, faculty, and external stakeholders to address programme-related matters and ensure operational alignment.
Job Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• 4 to 6 years of relevant experience in admissions, operations, or administration, preferably in a higher education setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint); comfortable learning new IT systems or platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent planning, coordination, and organizational abilities.
• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and departments.
• Proactive and adaptable, with a solution-oriented mindset.
