As a Middleweight Multimedia Designer, you will be a confident designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment delivering smart, agile and versatile designs that plays a meaningful role in culture and speak to 20-somethings globally.

The Details

Own and evolve our multimedia design and execution, experimenting with imagery, gifs, video and animation across our various workstreams and platformsUse your multimedia design skills across all disciplines to experiment with visual languageYou will be a source of inspiration, bringing new ideas and concepts to workCreate visual designs that effectively communicate concepts and brand identity, as well as the design and production of screen layouts, colour palettes, interface elements, iconography, typography and the creation of style guidesMonitor, adapt and execute design approach and actively aware of all areas of design and techFind design solutions that will make our audience stop and engage, compared to our competitorsUnderstand the creative vision of the department and take direction from senior members of the teamActively responsive to fluctuating business workloadsOffer support across all brand communication on our channelsConsidering trade objectives and opportunities when executing design contentEnsure all projects are executed within timelines and schedulesDevelop and maintain excellent relationships with all other departments, in particular: Content, Creative, ASOS Creates, Creative Operations, Fashion, Marketing and Social to deliver excellent ideas and executionsSupporting our culture by championing Diversity, Equity & Inclusion strategies About You

Experience within a design roleAn outstanding design portfolioCreative thinker with the ability to push ideasFully conversant in Figma and the Adobe suite, including After EffectsA high visual aesthetic with Superb layout and typography skillsGood knowledge of social design trends and approaches across Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat and You Tube Good knowledge of and understanding of the kind of design content that is widely viewed and shared across social mediaTeam player, enthusiastic and energeticAbility to work under pressure and be reactiveAbility to work across multiple projectsGood communication skills with the ability to sell design ideas to wider teams or collaboratorsPro-active and highly motivatedStrong understanding of campaign development and executionsConfident to explore new ways of workingOpen mindedA knowledge of the social landscapeA strong interest in fashion and retail BeneFITS’
