About our role We are seeking a commercially minded Finance and Procurement Partner to support our Commercial Finance Manager in the Kinrise Baking division. This varied role suits someone who enjoys using data to create practical insights and support better business decisions. You will support reporting, month-end, SAP costing, inventory analysis and procurement activities, working closely with internal teams and suppliers to maintain accurate reporting, reliable supply and cost-effective outcomes. About the role
You will provide timely reporting, analysis and recommendations across labour, waste, sales, forecasts, inventory, costing and key business drivers, while improving reporting accuracy and reducing manual effort through Excel, Power BI, data lakes, AI tools and other systems. You will also manage the site procurement function assisting with material sourcing, supplier communication and inventory management. Key responsibilities
• Prepare reporting across labour, waste, sales, forecasts, KPIs, month-end results and key drivers. • Support month-end, including journals, reconciliations, costing, variance analysis and commentary. • Maintain product and SAP costings across materials, standards, sites and business units. • Analyse inventory, usage and cost variances; support counts, stocktakes and reconciliations. • Turn ERP, data lake and reporting insights into clear recommendations. • Manage procurement and supplier matters across materials, packaging, consumables, pricing, forecasts and supply. • Partner with teams on availability, substitutions, specifications, launches and inventory risks. About you
You will bring to the role finance or procurement experience, with the ability to turn financial, operational and supply chain data into clear insights and practical recommendations. You will have confidence with Excel, ERP and reporting tools, you will be comfortable partnering with stakeholders across sales, operations and suppliers to improve reporting and support better decision-making.
• At least three years’ experience in finance or procurement in an FMCG or manufacturing business. • Strong knowledge of sales, margin, product mix, costing, inventory, month-end and variance analysis. • SAP costing, purchasing, inventory or finance module experience. • Power BI, data lakes, AI, automation or advanced reporting experience highly regarded. • Degree in finance, accounting, commerce or a related discipline.
