JOB DESCRIPTION
This role is responsible for technical drawing, layout planning, and on-site coordination of event setup activities for the Advertising & Promotion (A&P) Department at Saigon Centre shopping mall. The role supports retail, office leasing, and A&P activities by ensuring accurate drawings, safe installation practices, effective vendor coordination, and timely administrative support. Responsibilities
• Prepare, update, and draw floor plans and layout on a CAD drawing for Saigon Centre offices and retail mall to support retail & office leasing and A&P activities.
• Review and check technical drawings with a 3D designer before getting quotations, as well as installation plans submitted by vendors.
• Act as the on-site representative to guide brands/agencies/vendors when installing/fitting out at the Saigon Centre’s event spaces in accordance with the Saigon Centre regulations and to coordinate with Property Management (PM) and Operations (OPS) teams if needed.
• Supervise vendors during night-time installation and dismantling Saigon Centre shopping mall’s festive decorations.
• Review safety documents, method statements, risk assessments, and related reports submitted by vendors/brands, especially for hanging, or complex installations.
• Handle works in SAP system (creating Purchase Order/Service Entry) for A&P procurement & payment following the company’s regulations.
• Manage casual leasing for advertising channels, including contract and payment follow‑up.
• Undertake other marketing‑related projects and duties as assigned.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by the Head of Department or Management from time to time.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Interior Design, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Event Production, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in CAD drafting, technical drawing preparation, event setup, fit-out coordination, or related work.
• Certification or formal training in AutoCAD or other CAD software is preferred but not mandatory, where equivalent hands-on experience can be demonstrated.
• Basic knowledge of occupational health & safety (OHS), event installation, and site coordination.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural, engineering, and technical drawings.
• Working proficiency in English sufficient to review technical documents, communicate with vendors/tenants, and prepare basic work-related correspondence.
Competencies
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and technical drawing preparation.
• Understanding of retail fit-out, construction, event setup, and interior works.
• Ability to review floor plans and installation drawings.
• Knowledge of safety requirements, method statements, and permit-to-work processes.
• Able to support scheduled event setup, installation, or dismantling activities outside normal office hours when required, with reasonable notice and in accordance with company policies and applicable labour regulations.
• Ability to work independently, coordinate with multiple stakeholders, and manage deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with mall operations, property management, tenant coordination, or vendor management processes is an advantage.
