About this role

Role Description

Swimming Canada is seeking a Physiatrist to support the Paralympic Program athletes as they pursue international competition. The Physiatrist will provide both medical support and partnership in classification for the Paralympic Program. This role combines direct athlete care with supporting fair and accurate classification, helping athletes compete on a level playing field.

Classification ensures athletes with a variety of impairments compete fairly by grouping swimmers based on how their impairment’s functional presentation affects performance.
