Title: Principal Instrumentation/Controls Engineer
Job Responsibilities:
• Prepare field instrument specifications, datasheets, and procurement documents • Perform technical evaluation of field instruments like control valves, shutdown valves, flow instruments, level instruments, pressure instruments, analyzers, etc. • Prepare instrument list, IO list, and other deliverables from Hexagon SPI/AVEVA instrumentation • Prepare control narratives, cause & effect, system block diagrams • Review instrumentation in mechanical packages and provide inputs, perform vendor offer evaluation, vendor drawing review, etc. • Provide ICSS-related inputs to the ICSS Package Lead • Participate in HAZOP, LOPA, KOM, design reviews, testing, etc.
Job Requirements:
• Degree in Electronics/Control Systems/Instrumentation Engineering • Minimum of 12 years' experience in I&C Engineering/Design of Hydrocarbon or Offshore (preferred) Oil & Gas Processing Facilities, Wellhead platforms • Working knowledge of Hexagon SPI, either as an admin or super user, is highly preferred • Good knowledge of control system architecture and functionality • Possess good communication skills and leadership qualities • Ability to understand client and project requirements and meet the project expectations in terms of quality and schedule
