Manager - Commercial Finance Mumbai/Bangalore
Job Description:
Role Details We are looking for a driven and detail-oriented candidate to support and strengthen our pricing and commercial finance function. This role sits at the intersection of sales, finance, delivery, and operations — supporting the development and execution of competitive pricing proposals that reflect the true value of our services and drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have 2–3 years of hands-on experience in services pricing within an IT or consulting environment, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to review contractual documents with a commercial lens. Key Responsibilities:
• Support the end-to-end pricing and commercial structuring for services and product engagements, including time-and-material, fixed-price, milestone-based, and managed services models.
• Collaborate with sales, delivery, and solution teams to support them with competitive proposals and statements of work.
• Build and maintain pricing templates, rate card frameworks, and cost models tailored to IT and/or consulting services and products.
• Track and analyse commercial performance metrics including revenue per engagement, margin trends, deal win/loss patterns, and pricing variances.
• Develop pricing tools, calculators, and dashboards to streamline proposal development and support the sales team in deal structuring.
Qualifications:
• Chartered Accountant / Cost Accountant / Chartered Financial Analyst/MBA
• 2–3 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or financial analysis within an IT services or consulting environment
• Demonstrated experience in preparing pricing proposals and commercial structures for engagements, including rate cards, staffing models, and fixed-bid estimation.
• Strong financial acumen with proficiency in pricing models, cost-to-serve analysis, margin calculations, and commercial deal structuring.
Ideal Candidate Will Be:
• Strategically minded with business instincts and operational discipline.
• Able to support in the translation complex service delivery scopes into clear, client-ready commercial structures and pricing narratives.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity, with a strong bias toward execution and measurable outcomes.
