Senior Product Engineer – Mining Equipment | Trommel Systems | SolidWorks | ANSYS) Help engineer the future of sustainable mining At FLS, our MissionZero ambition is focused on enabling zero-emissions mining. We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Engineer to join our global Mining Products Engineering Department and become the technical owner for our Trommel Systems product portfolio. This is a senior engineering position responsible for the end-to-end engineering, design, structural analysis and continuous improvement of trommel systems and associated consumables supporting mining operations around the world. Important – Industry Experience Required This is not a general mechanical design role. To be considered, you must have proven experience designing mining, mineral processing, bulk materials handling or heavy construction equipment. Applicants from consumer products, automotive, HVAC, building services or other light engineering industries are unlikely to possess the experience required. Candidates must also demonstrate strong experience using ANSYS for Finite Element Analysis (FEA) as part of the engineering design process. About the Role As part of our Consumables Engineering Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end engineering and product ownership of FLS Trommel Systems, from concept development through detailed design, engineering validation, manufacturing support and continuous product improvement. Working closely with global engineering, manufacturing, R&D, product management and customers, you will develop innovative engineering solutions that improve reliability, wear life, manufacturability and customer performance. This role combines product engineering, structural analysis, detailed design and technical leadership, providing the opportunity to influence the future direction of our trommel product portfolio globally. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end engineering and design of Trommel Systems and associated consumables • Develop innovative engineering solutions that improve product performance, reliability and service life • Create detailed 3D models and manufacturing documentation using SolidWorks • Perform structural verification, optimisation and fatigue assessments using ANSYS • Design rotating equipment, fabricated steel structures and wear components for heavy-duty mining applications • Produce complete engineering documentation including: • General Arrangement Drawings • Fabrication Drawings • Machining Drawings • Weld Details • Bills of Materials

• Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, manufacturing capability and customer requirements • Support manufacturing through prototype development, fabrication, assembly and product introduction • Investigate field performance, root cause failures and customer issues, implementing engineering improvements where required • Collaborate with Product Management, R&D and Manufacturing to drive innovation and product development • Maintain engineering documentation and revision control using ENOVIA / 3DEXPERIENCE • Support the development of global engineering standards, design methodologies and best practices What You Bring Essential Experience

• Minimum 7 years' experience designing mining, mineral processing, bulk materials handling or heavy construction equipment • Proven experience designing large fabricated steel structures, rotating equipment or similar heavy mechanical assemblies • Strong experience performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS (essential) • Advanced SolidWorks capability including complex assemblies and manufacturing detailing • Experience developing detailed fabrication and manufacturing documentation • Strong understanding of welded structures, structural mechanics, fatigue, tolerancing and Design for Manufacture (DFM) Highly Regarded Experience with one or more of the following will be highly regarded:

• Trommel Systems • Screening Equipment • Feeders • Crushers • Mineral Processing Equipment • Bulk Materials Handling Equipment • Wear Components and Consumables • AutoCAD • ENOVIA • 3DEXPERIENCE • Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) • Minimum 7 years' relevant engineering experience • Chartered Engineer (or working towards) is advantageous Personal Attributes
