The University of Dundee is seeking a proactive Information Governance Officer to support compliance with information legislation, regulatory requirements and internal governance standards.
Key responsibilities
Respond to FOI, Data Protection, SARs and Environmental Information Regulations requests. Complete and review Data Protection Impact Assessments. Provide advice to stakeholders on compliance and information governance. Support delivery of guidance, training and awareness initiatives. Assist with managing personal data breaches and information governance incidents. Maintain and enhance policies, procedures and compliance frameworks. Draft and review data sharing and data processing agreements.
About you
You should have a degree or relevant experience in compliance, regulatory, legal or information governance roles.
A recognised qualification in data protection, FOI or risk management is desirable.
You will be confident applying compliance concepts in practical scenarios, communicating clearly and working effectively in a fast paced environment.
