Role Overview The Quality Engineer II will be responsible for designing and executing robust test strategies, enhancing automation frameworks, and driving quality initiatives within Agile teams. Level of Problem Solving Solves moderately complex problems by analyzing data and applying pre-defined processes or past learnings. Key Job Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for UI, API, and backend systems.
• Derive and execute comprehensive test plans and cases based on system requirements.
• Integrate automated testing within CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Perform functional, regression, and API testing, ensuring full test coverage.
• Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve defects and improve testability.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release readiness reviews.
• Contribute to improving automation frameworks and testing tools for scalability and reliability.
• Document and communicate test results, risks, and recommendations clearly.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices for test design and automation.
Skills Needed
• 3+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with BDD-Cucumber, Selenium and Java for UI automation.
• Good understanding of API testing (Postman, Rest Assured).
• Experience with SQL and relational database validation.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub).
• Good understanding of Java.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and test management tools (JIRA, XRAY).
Preferred Skills (Good to Have)
• Exposure to performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions).
• ISTQB or similar testing certification.
