About this role
Job Purpose: Primarily responsible in managing the end-to-end execution of asset transfers for wealth clients. Supports initiatives and projects of the unit. The role combines operational oversight, client-centric service delivery and risk management
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:
• End to End Asset Transfer Management in ensuring customer transfer request are processed accurately and timely within agreed SLA
• Provide seamless support to internal and external stakeholders on transfer feasibility, timelines, documentation requirements and timely support to meet the project deliverables
• Risk, Compliance and controls in ensuring strict adherence to the Bank’s operating guidelines and regulatory/market requirements. Maintain robust controls to mitigate operational and reputational risks
• Investigate and resolve exceptions, failed trades and reconciliation breaks promptly
• Process Improvement and Change Management – drive continuous improvement in turnaround times and error reduction
• Process different types of transfer covering equities, fixed income, funds and digital assets
• Liaise with different parties such as CDP, front office and external third parties for security transfer
• Liaise with front office and custodian to ensure smooth settlement transfer
• Ensure all cash and securities breaks are promptly investigated and follow up
• Ensure all transfers instructions are processed in accordance the Bank’s operating guidelines and compliance to market requirements
• Handle security transfers queries from FO and other stakeholders
• Monitor daily workflows to ensure adherence to service level and turnaround times
• Assist in and lead ad-hoc projects on behalf of team. Work with project stakeholders in ensuring timely implementation
• Identify process improvement opportunities and support transformation initiatives
• Support team manager in resource planning and workload management
Requirements:
• Diploma/Degree holder with minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in Asset transfer , preferably in a private banking setup
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong client-centric mindset with attention to details and with a strong control mindset
• Strong communicator and collaborate effectively with stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skill
• Manage multiple priorities and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and managing volume surge
