Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Key Accountabilities
• Deliver projects, initiatives, and process improvements in line with agreed scope, quality standards, and timelines. • Elicit, document, and maintain user requirements, project changes, and standard operating procedures (SOPs); provide timely training and updates to relevant stakeholders. • Conduct post‑implementation reviews to identify and resolve any issues or implementation gaps. • Provide support for business‑as‑usual (BAU) activities as required. • Ensure full compliance with risk management and regulatory requirements in accordance with Group and country standards
Job Duties & responsibilities
• Deliver projects, initiatives, and process improvements in line with agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards. • Gather, analyse, and document business and user requirements in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. • Maintain key project documentation, including requirements, change requests, SOPs, and implementation artefacts. • Support testing, implementation, post‑implementation reviews, and BAU issue resolution. • Manage risks and stakeholder communications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements. • Providing support to BAU when required • Any other responsibilities that may be assigned by Management from time to time.
Experience
• Minimum 3-5 years experience delivering projects, initiatives, or process improvements within payments, cash, or treasury operations, or extensive hands‑on experience in a payments, treasury, or other banking operations environment. • Knowledge of treasury products (e.g. Money Markets, Fixed Income, Bonds/Repos, NCDs) and payments/cash management products (e.g. SWIFT, RTGS, BECS, BPAY, Term Deposits). • Knowledge such as RITS, Swift, Austraclear, and Murex systems desirable. • Good understanding of operational policies, processes, and internal controls. • Knowledge or understanding in AML/CTF and sanctions monitoring, including IFTI reporting. • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex operational and regulatory concepts to stakeholders.
