The Role

Join us as Venue Manager - Mahogany Crown Melbourne and lead one of Crown's most exclusive VIP hospitality environments.

Located within Crown Melbourne's prestigious Mahogany Room, Mahogany is a premium VIP destination encompassing private gaming salons, luxury hospitality experiences, personalised beverage service and exceptional dining. Catering to Crown's most valued guests, Mahogany is renowned for delivering tailored and highly personalised experiences within a sophisticated and exclusive setting.

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the outlet, driving operational excellence, financial results and team success across the VIP gaming and hospitality environment. Leading from the floor, you will inspire a high-performing team, foster a culture of excellence and ensure every guest interaction reflects the premium service standards synonymous with the Crown brand.

In this role, you will:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of Mahogany, ensuring exceptional service delivery and seamless venue execution. ·

• Champion compliance with Crown's operational, regulatory and responsible service requirements while maintaining a safe and inclusive workplace.

• Drive outstanding guest experiences by creating a personalised, attentive and memorable environment for VIP patrons.

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing front of house leadership team, building capability and succession within the outlet.

• Manage labour costs, productivity and operational efficiencies to achieve financial and business performance objectives. ·

• Take accountability for outlet performance, identifying opportunities to drive revenue growth and enhance the guest experience.

• Partner closely with culinary and operational stakeholders to ensure consistency, quality and service excellence across all aspects of the business.

• Lead by example during peak trading periods, maintaining a visible leadership presence and ensuring service standards consistently exceed expectations.

About You You are an accomplished hospitality leader with experience managing premium restaurants, luxury hotels or high-end hospitality venues. You are passionate about service excellence, thrive in fast-paced environments and have a proven ability to lead teams while delivering exceptional commercial and guest outcomes.

You will also bring:

• Demonstrated management experience within a premium restaurant, luxury hotel, high-end hospitality environment or premium gaming.

• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams while fostering a positive and engaged workplace culture.

• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing labour, costs, revenue opportunities and overall business performance.

• Exceptional guest service skills, with the ability to build relationships and deliver highly personalised experiences for VIP and premium clientele.

• Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence, motivate and drive accountability across diverse teams.

• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and organisational skills.

• Demonstrated experience operating in highly regulated environments with a strong focus on compliance and risk management.

• A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences. · Current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
