Job Description:
As a Mechanical Technician at CROWN Beverage Cans Ziyang Limited, you will be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production machinery to ensure optimal operational efficiency and product quality.
Job Responsibilities:**
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on a variety of mechanical equipment, including presses, body makers, decorators, and other can manufacturing machinery. * Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime. * Execute repair work on faulty equipment, which may involve replacing parts, adjusting components, and reassembling machinery. * Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. * Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and address any mechanical concerns. * Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematic diagrams for maintenance and repair purposes. * Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and equipment performance. * Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, promoting a safe working environment. * Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to machinery performance and maintenance processes. * Train and mentor junior technicians as required.
Job Qualifications:**
* High school diploma or equivalent; a technical diploma or certification in mechanical engineering, industrial maintenance, or a related field is highly preferred. * Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the can making or high-volume production industry. * Strong understanding of mechanical principles, hydraulics, pneumatics, and precision machinery. * Proficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals. * Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues efficiently. * Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Good communication skills, both written and verbal. * Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by production schedules
