Job Summary The Construction Helper supports mechanical and plumbing crews on commercial construction projects by performing basic tasks, assisting skilled tradespeople, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in the construction industry. Key Responsibilities
• Assist plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians with material handling and job site preparation. • Load, unload, and move tools, equipment, and supplies as directed. • Measure, cut, and prepare piping materials under supervision. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to ensure safety compliance. • Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely. • Support installation of mechanical and plumbing systems by holding, positioning, or securing materials. • Follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. • Perform other duties as assigned by foreman or supervisor. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous construction experience is a plus but not required. • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather conditions. • Basic knowledge of hand tools and construction practices. • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. • Reliable transportation to job sites across Arizona.
