Recruiter for this role: Andre BrazPurpose of the job We’re looking for a Partnerships Manager to support selected South American markets as part of our Brazil Partnerships team. This role will be responsible for developing and managing strategic partnerships that drive growth across our premium brands and blue-chip clients in the financial services, travel, retail, technology, and media sectors.
Currently reporting directly to Director of Partnerships – Brazil and Selected Countries in South America, the role of the Manager, Partnerships will support the Partnerships team to leverage overall Americas Region and Collinson group demand and drive competitive advantage. Through securing competitive commercial terms, enhancing margins from transactions, and supporting the achievement of exclusivity arrangements where appropriate to help limit competitive activity. You will seek to foster an innovative approach with partners, working closely with them to build value-added relationships and deliver an enriched and frictionless end-consumer experience. You will identify, develop, and manage partner relationships across various geographies. You will have a strong understanding of partnership marketing strategy and will support the delivery of partnerships from idea generation through negotiation, securing final agreements, delivering signed contracts, and managing the ongoing relationship with partners for the benefit of the Group.
You will be working within a regional team to build partnerships and source deals with retailers, restaurants, spas and other services in airports to support our Airport Experience programs (including Priority Pass, our premium lifestyle brand and the world’s largest airport lounge access program) as well as other Group opportunities.
You will be expected to understand the Group’s businesses and competitive marketplace, identifying new opportunities to deliver successful, best in class partnerships to support other Group opportunities as required.
The role will primarily focus on selected South American markets and be based in São Paulo, Brazil. Initially an individual contributor role, success will depend on the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate across functions, and influence stakeholders without direct authority. Key Responsibilities
• Partner Management Strategy: Understand the commercial dynamics of airport experiences, including pricing, contractual terms, and support the execution of regional partnership strategies, incentives, and customer experience initiatives in alignment with global objectives . • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned partners, fostering strong long-term partnerships that deliver mutual value and competitive advantage, while driving engagement, collaboration, and effective communication through regular interactions with key partner stakeholders. • Recruitment – responsible for recruitment of new lounges and merchants to further increase regional coverage • Support contract execution, partner onboarding, invoicing, reporting, and operational processes, while ensuring preferential contract terms are in place to reflect the global scale of the business. • Runs partnership performance reporting and analysis, monitoring financial, operational, and service KPIs, and developing dashboards, presentations, and business insights to support strategic decision-making, ensure performance commitments are met, and drive continuous partnership improvement. Commercial and Performance Analysis: Supporting the regional partnerships team with data driven recommendations and actionable insights to support decision-making • Quality – Carry out competitive and quality reviews and improvement plans • Marketing – Review lounge signage, communications, to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and positioning. • Work closely with cross-functional teams to coordinate partner activities, resolve operational challenges, and ensure a seamless delivery experience. • Contribute to the implementation of new partner initiatives, programs, and system enhancements, while driving process improvements, service enhancements, and commercial innovation to support business growth and operational effectiveness. • Maintain accurate partner data, reporting, and documentation, ensuring compliance and supporting business reporting requirements through the effective use of contract, pricing, booking, and operational management systems. • Structure – Ability to effectively operate in a matrix organization; with both local and remote reporting relationships and key, business decision makers.
Knowledge, skills and experience required
• Proven success in conducting business and building merchant relationships within commercial airports • Experience in the travel, airline, hospitality or other service related fields • Experience in Aviation, Airport industry or/ and Supplier Relations/Supply Chain Management • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Marketing or a related field; or equivalent experience. • 4–7 years’ experience in partnerships or account management. • Team-oriented, dependable and adaptable. Demonstrates curiosity and continuous learning. Collaborates effectively across teams. • Must be multi-lingual with fluent written and spoken Portuguese and Spanish with advanced English proficiency. • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills • Entrepreneurial, motivated, assertive, and collaborative; as well as a self-starter and a quick-thinker • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, including data analysis and executive-level presentations. • Key account management techniques and practices • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and leverage internal expertise to resolve partner issues and drive effective outcomes. • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build productive relationships and engage effectively with partners and internal stakeholders at all levels. • Seeks to collaborate with regional and global teams. • Understanding of and ability to adapt to differing cultural norms and approaches to doing business across South America region About us: Our story
