Overview
The Construction Project Managers primary duty is to support the oversight and coordination of various construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that schedules and budgets are followed. Assisting in review of the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs.
NOTE: This position requires extensive travel with a home base office located in our Angleton, Texas office.

The essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
• Plan & spec review — Review construction drawings and specifications for completeness, accuracy, and coordination across trades; identify conflicts, gaps, and constructability issues early • RFIs — Review incoming RFIs for clarity and completeness; ensure the correct parties (architect, engineers, GC, subs) respond, track responses to closure, and confirm resolutions are reflected in the field • Submittals — Review and process submittals (shop drawings, product data, samples) for conformance with contract documents and Buc-ee's standards; track status and turnaround • Site visits & inspections — Conduct regular job-site visits to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with approved plans; document conditions with photos and field notes • Schedule & progress tracking — Track construction progress against the project schedule; flag delays and coordinate with the GC and subs to keep milestones on track • Documentation & coordination — Maintain project records (RFIs, submittals, meeting notes, daily reports); support coordination between GCs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders • Punch list & closeout support — Assist with punch list development, tracking, and verification through project closeout and store opening • It is an essential function of this job for the employee to work in office/in the employee’s assigned work site. No remote work is available

The position requirements include, but are not limited to:
• Bachelor's Degree - Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field required
• 0 - 5 years of commercial construction experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills a must
