This is a full-time Sr, Director, Operations Production position located in Provo, Utah. Responsibilities include:
• Develop, implement, and oversee operational strategies that support organizational goals, productivity, and profitability.
• Direct company-wide production planning to ensure operational capacity aligns with business demands.
• Lead the development and execution of routing strategies to maximize technician productivity, route efficiency, and customer service.
• Oversee production scheduling processes to optimize workforce utilization and service delivery.
• Direct strategic deployment of operational resources based on business needs, seasonal demand, and organizational priorities.
• Monitor operational performance through data analysis, reporting, dashboards, and key performance indicators, recommending corrective actions as needed.
• Develop, maintain, and evaluate operational scorecards to measure business performance and drive accountability.
• Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiency, productivity, quality, and consistency across all production functions.
• Identify trends, operational risks, and opportunities through analysis of production and operational data.
• Partner with Finance and other business leaders to support operational revenue initiatives, forecasting, and performance improvement efforts.
• Oversee operational commission processes and collaborate with appropriate departments to ensure commission programs are administered accurately and consistently.
• Establish operational standards, policies, procedures, and best practices to support compliance and consistent execution.
• Lead cross-functional projects that improve operational processes, systems, and business outcomes.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management for assigned team members, including hiring, development, and succession planning.
• Collaborate with executive leadership to develop long-term operational strategies that support organizational growth.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, company policies, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:
• Knowledge of operations management, production planning, routing, scheduling, and workforce optimization.
• Knowledge of operational metrics, financial performance, forecasting, and business analytics.
• Ability to develop and execute strategic initiatives that improve operational performance and efficiency.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and operational reporting or business intelligence systems.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 8 or more years of progressive operations leadership experience, including leadership of multi-site or large-scale field operations.
