The hourly pay rate for this position is $30.00 - $35.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location.

Description: Join our amazing team at Cottage Pet Hospital as the next great step in your career. The ideal candidate will be an experienced, dependable, detail-oriented team player who loves animals and being part of a fun, supportive team. They will have experience rooming patients, assisting in surgery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, knowledge of x-rays and proper positioning, experience with proper animal handling and restraint, understanding the importance of client education, and being a positive and supportive team member.

Requirements:

• Registered Veterinary Technicians (license must be current)

• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience (required)

• Strong anesthesia monitoring experience.

• Highly skilled at teaching, training, and mentoring vet tech knowledge and skills with staff

• Experience with inventory for surgeries and back-of-the-house medications and supplies

• Understands surgery scheduling, and helps to control each surgery's flow to stay on track

• Full-time position

• Must be available to work weekends
