The Opportunity
The Inventory Accountant is responsible for inventory accounting functions and in supervising and coordinating the Quantity Accuracy Program (QAP) for AMPI and AML.
What You Will Do
• Performs quarterly R&D lot reviews (AML) • Performs quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition (WIP/INV - AML) • Responsible for the monthly Wafer Bank Foundry lots review (every 3rd week of the month - AML) • Conducts verification of monthly Polar RMA status with DYE team (AML) • Performs monthly freight accrual (AML) • Reviews and approves Materials Inventory Scrap Review request in E-Forms (AMPI) • Monitors PHA lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinates with Logistics team the required Oracle transaction (AMPI) • Prepares monthly BU Reclass for Inventory-related accounts (AMPI) • Prepares monthly tape & reel analysis (AMPI) • Prepares monthly RM consumption analysis (AMPI) • Supports adhoc projects, and other duties as assigned
What You Will Bring
• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy • CPA license an advantage but not necessary • At least 1 year relevant work experience in Inventory • Good verbal and written communication skills • Good interpersonal skills and ability to relate with people in various levels of organization • Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills • Accuracy and attention to details • Takes initiative to make improvements • Cooperate and collaborate with colleagues • Good sense of professionalism and confidentiality • Working knowledge of the entire finance functions • Keen on details and can explain them • Ability to execute financial controls • Working knowledge of Philippine local finance and accounting practices • Abreast with industry practices • A firm grasps of all accounting functions
