About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Manufacturing Administrator to support our manufacturing operations at Marley site in Manurewa site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating and overseeing a broad range of administrative and operational systems within a manufacturing environment.

You will play a key role in maintaining accurate data, coordinating training records, supporting inventory processes, and ensuring administrative activities are completed efficiently and accurately. Working across multiple departments, you will help maintain operational systems, support compliance requirements, manage production documentation, and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the manufacturing operation.

What will you do?

• Maintain and update production, operational, and business data records, ensuring information is accurate and up to date.

• Coordinate training and competency administration, including training schedules, records, skills matrices, and liaison with employees, managers, and external providers.

• Prepare and maintain KPI reports, performance metrics, and other operational reporting to support business decision-making.

• Support month-end inventory stocktakes, audits, and inventory administration activities.

• Provide administrative support across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, and inventory functions.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives by maintaining operational reporting and assisting with process improvement activities.

• Manage document control processes, ensuring records are accurate, current, compliant, and easily accessible.

• Coordinate the procurement of office and operational supplies, including raising purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, and tracking deliveries.

• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external service providers to support day-to-day operational requirements.

• Maintain a highly organised work environment and ensure administrative systems are effectively managed.

• Promote and support a safe workplace by identifying and addressing health and safety risks and compliance requirements.

What We're Looking For:

• 3–5 years of experience in an administration, operations support, customer service, logistics, manufacturing, or similar environment.

• Strong computer literacy with proven experience using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Experience using ERP or operational systems (such as BPCS, Nexus, or similar) will be highly regarded.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.

• Comfortable managing routine and repetitive tasks while maintaining a high standard of quality and consistency.

• Able to work independently, prioritise tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• A collaborative team player who builds positive working relationships across multiple departments and stakeholders.

• Demonstrates a proactive and professional approach when responding to queries and resolving issues.

• Open to learning, adaptable to change, and willing to understand existing processes before recommending improvements.
