SHIFT - 2PM - 10:30 PM

Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues with laundry equipment to identify the root cause of malfunctions. Repairs and replaces faulty components in mechanical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and hot oil systems. Utilizes a variety of test equipment to troubleshoot and verify the functionality of repaired systems. Collaborates with equipment manufacturers' technical service departments to resolve complex issues. Provides training and guidance to staff on the proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment. Keeps up-to-date with the latest advancements in laundry equipment technology and repair techniques. Other Duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal English [Required]

• General Electrical Journeyman knowledge [Required]

• General Plumbing Journeyman knowledge [Required]

• General Industrial Mechanic Journeyman knowledge [Required]

• PLC programming and diagnosis knowledge and skills [Required]

• Ability to read and interpret electrical and building/mechanical drawings [Required]

• Inverter installation and programming [Required]

• Pneumatic systems [Required]

• Hydraulic systems [Required]

• Schematics reading [Required]

• Hot oil systems [Preferred]

• Welding [Preferred]

• Steam systems [Preferred]

Education:

• N/A

Field of Study:

• N/A

Work Experience:

• 2+ experience as an engineer in a high-volume laundry [Preferred]

• 2+ experience on thermal oil operated ironers [Preferred]

• 2+ of experience on steam operated equipment [Preferred]

• 3+  working with electronic controls, PLC’s, inverters, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems [Preferred]

• 4+ of experience working with electronic controls, plc’s, inverters, pneumatic systems and hydraulic systems [Required]

• Welding experience [Preferred]
