Work Schedule: Full time, three 12-hour shifts. Call Required
• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. • Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures. • Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning. • Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed. • Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants. • Passes instruments and supplies to surgeon during procedures. • Maintains the highest standard of sterile technique during procedures. • Prepares sterile dressings and cleans and prepares instruments for terminal sterilization. • Handles surgical specimens with 100% accuracy. • Recognizes and responds immediately to emergency situations appropriately. Education:
• Associate [Preferred]
• High School Grad or Equiv [Required]
• Technical/Vocational School [Required]
Work Experience:
• 1+ experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required] AND
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) [Required] OR
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) [Required] OR
• Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) [Required]
Pay Range:
