Participates in customer service workshops and seminars, completing required competencies or tests on time. Performs other duties as assigned. Builds and maintains relationships with key referring physicians through quality service delivery to referred patients. Uses creative thinking and high-quality customer service to accommodate patient imaging needs of referring physicians. Seeks to increase referred volume through relationship expansion. Works closely with the Campus Imaging Director to resolve physician-related problems or issues as needed. Provides leadership over the team responsible for accurate and complete scheduling, verification of benefits, pre-authorization, and pre-certification of imaging exams. Serves as the supervisor of other intake team members, providing guidance on training and performance issues. Acts as a seasoned scheduler during peak volume times, creating patient accounts, scheduling appointments, and pre-registering patients. Reviews and prepares patient visit paperwork in advance to ensure timely and accurate exams. Drives imaging patients efficiently through the intake process, balancing excellent customer service with effective utilization of departmental resources. Delivers excellent customer service, handling calls and issues promptly and efficiently, and resolving escalated issues. Maintains skill level and knowledge of imaging trends by attending training sessions and completing study materials.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Outstanding Oral and written communication skills [Required] • Advanced Computer Skills (MS Windows / MS office, etc.) [Required] • Understanding of Health Insurance Authorization processes. [Required] • Familiarity with Radiologic procedures, terminology & modality requirements. [Required]

Pay Range:
$18.14 - $29.02 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
