About this role
Our client, a manufacturing company specializing in the build and repair of AC/DC motors and generators is seeking a skilled Motor Repair Technician with hands-on experience in teardown, inspection, and assembly of industrial electric motors.
Key Responsibilities
Perform teardown and assembly of AC/DC motors and generators Work on major motor brands including WEG, Toshiba, GE, NOV, Kato, Leroy-Somer, and Caterpillar Inspect and measure components using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, etc.) Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues Complete detailed inspection and assembly reports Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards
Requirements
Qualifications
Minimum 3+ years of experience in AC/DC motor repair (teardown and assembly) Experience working with industrial motor brands (WEG, Toshiba, GE, NOV, Kato, Leroy-Somer, Caterpillar preferred) Ability to accurately measure and inspect parts using micrometers and other tools Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to document work clearly and accurately
Preferred Skills
Experience in a manufacturing or repair shop environment Strong attention to detail and quality control Ability to work independently and as part of a team
