About the job:
The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and expanding the company’s client base. This role focuses on outbound prospecting, consultative selling, and managing the full sales cycle within a technology-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within target marketsDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed revenue targetsBuild and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clientsManage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through to closing dealsConduct product presentations, demos, and solution-based sales conversationsCollaborate with marketing to align on lead generation campaigns and messagingMaintain accurate pipeline and forecasting data in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)Negotiate contracts and commercial terms with clientsStay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologiesRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunitiesRequirements
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within a tech or SaaS environmentStrong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience managing complex B2B sales cyclesExcellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsAbility to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suiteStrong commercial acumen and strategic thinking abilityFamiliarity with CRM tools and sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDICC, SPIN, Challenger)Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
