About the Role We are looking for an experienced performance marketer who can own both paid acquisition and retention marketing end-to-end. This is a rare dual-skill role built for someone who is technically fluent across paid media platforms and CRM systems, works with urgency and precision, and thrives in a build-it-from-scratch environment.
Growth Marketing Responsibilities
Own paid media buying across Meta, Google, TikTok, and emerging channels — campaign setup, audience targeting, budget pacing, and optimizationManage Meta campaigns, including prospecting and retargeting across Facebook and Instagram; configure campaigns, ad sets, and ads with precisionManage Google Ads across brand and non-brand search, shopping campaigns, and performance max — including feed health, bidding strategy, and negative keyword managementManage TikTok paid social campaigns; TikTok Shop is out of scopeFlight creative assets across all paid channels on schedule; partner with the creative team on performance feedback and iterationMonitor performance daily, flag anomalies, and optimize toward agreed-upon KPIs (ROAS, CPA, CPM, CTR, conversion rate)Use AI tools to accelerate testing, reporting, and optimization workflowsMaintain clean campaign structure and naming conventions; keep accounts organized and audit-ready Retention Marketing Responsibilities
Own the full Klaviyo program including flows, campaigns, audience segmentation, and event trackingBuild and maintain core flows: welcome series, abandoned cart, post-purchase, win-back, and browse abandonmentManage the weekly and monthly campaign calendar — coordinate with the creative team on assets, schedule, and launch on time without exceptionMonitor and maintain deliverability health: list hygiene, suppression management, sender reputation, bounce handling, and spam complianceDesign and execute A/B tests on subject lines, send times, content blocks, and CTAs; document results and iterateManage CRM technical infrastructure: event definitions, custom properties, integration health between Shopify and KlaviyoReport on retention KPIs: open rate, click rate, revenue per recipient, list growth, unsubscribe rate, and flow performanceWhat We're Looking For
5+ years in performance marketing and/or CRM, with hands-on ownership of paid platforms and/or Klaviyo at a DTC brandExpert-level working knowledge of Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, TikTok Ads, and Klaviyo — you can navigate each platform without hand-holdingTechnically capable: you understand pixels, conversion events, UTM structures, feed specs, list segmentation, and API integrationsOperates with urgency — deadlines are not suggestions, and campaign launches happen on timeDetail-oriented and diligent: you catch errors before they ship, you QA your own work, and you maintain tidy account structureEntrepreneurial mindset — comfortable building programs that don't yet exist, with limited process documentation to lean onAI-native: you actively use AI tools to move faster, test more, and work smarterExperience working in Shopify-native DTC environmentsExperience managing paid media and retention simultaneously at a single brand What to Expect
