About this role
Job Purpose To perform electrical and electronic repairs on customer vehicles using advanced diagnostic tools, working on a wide range of Standard Business and Chery models in accordance with standard guidelines. Job Responsibilities Financials

• Perform electrical and electronic subsystem repairs in accordance with the scope of work, using advanced diagnostic tools and standard service procedures/wiring diagrams. • Record any additional repairs and recommendations required. • Receive repair orders from the Team Leader and fully understand the scope of work to be carried out. • Review the vehicle’s service history and identify any applicable recall campaigns. • Carry out authorised repairs as agreed, and inform the Team Leader of any further comments or observations. • Perform software updates on subsystems as per the manufacturer’s recommendations. • Demonstrate manual dexterity along with strong technical, mechanical, and advanced computer skills. • Take ownership of all aspects of the role, working without close supervision and showing effective self-management. • Follow the quality control inspection system to prevent or correct faulty workmanship that does not meet the required standard. • Handle the customer’s vehicle with the utmost care and in a safe manner. Learning & Growth
• Keep the work area clean and maintain the condition of both personal and workshop tools. • Participate in Training Needs Assessments conducted by the training academy, and further develop technical skills through the Standard Business training programme. • Demonstrate the ability to read and interpret complex documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, repair manuals, and wiring diagrams. • For warranty repairs, follow standard guidelines, tag replaced parts with a warranty tag, and hand them over to the centralised warranty store. • Carry out recall campaigns, such as airbag replacements, in accordance with standard guidelines. • Perform diagnosis and repairs on air-conditioning systems as per standard service procedures. • Ensure the highest compliance with F1 standards and standard guidelines. • Strictly follow HSE protocols and requirements as per SOP, ensuring that all safety gear is used in the workplace (personal safety, equipment safety, and customer vehicle safety). Educational Qualifications
• 2-year ITI (Industrial Training Institute – NCVT Certificate) or 3-year Diploma in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. Work Experience
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an automotive dealership, including at least 2 years as an electrician. Competencies
