We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an HR Administrator/Assistant. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build a solid foundation in Human Resources while developing your skills and knowledge within a supportive and professional environment. You will be responsible for all aspects of administration for the Employee Lifecycle as well as first line of support to both employees and people managers. Experience in a HR environment is essential.
Level 2 or above in Maths and English (essential)
A Level or NVQ Grade C or above (desirable)
Level 3 HR Support CIPD (desirable but not essential)
Business administration and IT systems and software (ideally within HR) demonstrating good time management and organisational skillsWorking with and supporting employees and Line ManagersPrevious experience in a commercial businessOther Role Requirements:

First line HR support to the business
Managing HR inbox to ensure timely and accurate action and response to enquiries and needs ensuring appropriate HR lead made aware of requirementsPrepare HR documentation such as contract amendments and reference lettersProcess employee onboarding and offboarding activities including exit interviewsMaintenance and day to day management of employee files to ensure up to date and accurateInput people metrics into bids/tenders for projectsPerformance management:
Disciplinary investigations as requiredProvide support and advice to line managers on performance improvement plansGuidance and monitoring of Probation Reviews supporting line mangers as requiredAnnual appraisal data input and monitoringAbsence:
Document, review and investigate sickness absence in conjunction with the HR Advisor, as per the company’s sickness absence management procedure including the monitoring and reporting of triggers to provide proactive support to managers in managing sickness absenceEnsure timely and accurate processing of maternity and paternity leave (and other forms of leave)Benefits processing and administration:

New starters, leavers and internal moves
