About this role
Based on the outputs from the System Teams and the different disciplines, VFM identifies risks, proposes re‑convergence plans and if necessary negotiates timing adjustment.
He / she helps VSS prioritize activities in case of difficulty / resources unavailabilityVFM is in charge of ensuring global consistency and execution of various functional validation plansGuarantees that all validation activities are planned in consistency with each other and based on expected SW maturity (regular SW deliveries or bug fixes)Monitors the execution of functional and dysfunctional validation with respect to expected timing, and alerts in case of driftFunctional safety activities will be driven by PSM with the support of VFM to consolidate global functional and dysfunctional validation planCoordinate with the technical experts at the vehicle level to assist in issue resolution, help support Vehicle Issue Resolution and provide lessons learned for vehicle projects
