About this role
Carry out dissolution and HPLC/UPLC methods. Carry out GCMS methods. Perform daily laboratory duties to include preparing samples, performing analysis, calculating data, recording/reporting data, performing general housekeeping in alignment with 5S standards, and performing other duties as assigned. Meet all quality and productivity metricsPerform instrument calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, recognize errors, identify root causes, and maintain excellent working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation. Apply the highest quality standard in all areas of responsibility; maintain ISO 17025 quality standards and accreditation for the laboratory.Review data, data notebooks, logbooks, and reports to ensure highest qualityDemonstrate strong client service skillsProactively plan and maximize productivityDemonstrate strong teamwork and collaborationImplement operational improvementsSupport and promote company policies and procedures
2+ years of relevant laboratory experienceExperience using GCMS instrumentationExperience using Dissolution and/or HPLC, UPLC laboratory instrumentation4-year degree in chemistry or related scientific disciplineExperience working within an established quality system (ISO 17025 preferred)Understanding of production laboratory operationsDetailed-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills.Strong written, verbal and presentation skills along with demonstrated ability to collaborate with others.Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitudeAuthorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time, Monday- Friday 8:00-5:00 pm.
