About this role
We are seeking an Operations Specialist to provide essential operational support to the US Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth coordination across scientific teams, global sites, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a primary point of contact for day-to-day operational support within the US DMPK Department.Collaborate with on-site scientific teams, European colleagues, and external suppliers such as CROs to ensure timely and efficient processing of requests.Includes: processing of requests, study planning, result integration, and resolving issuesSupport the implementation of tools (e.g. Benchling) and processes that enhance team communication and operational efficiency.Track training assignments and ensure compliance with internal requirements.Execute a variety of operational tasks, including:Shipping and receiving of samplesSetting up purchase orders, managing purchasing and invoicing, tracking spend, and assisting with budget documentationEnsuring timely receipt and review of data and input into digital platformsDrafting memos and non-scientific communications Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree2+ years of experience in operations support within the biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or CRO industriesStrong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detailDemonstrated proactivity and ability to follow tasks through to completionSkilled at managing multiple priorities and building strong cross-functional relationshipsProficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorshipPreferred Qualifications
Experience managing projects in a global matrix/team environmentAbility to identify operational issues, assess risks, and contribute to resolution and mitigation strategiesSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgmentCollaborative mindset with a willingness to share knowledge and best practicesQuick to learn new systems and processes, with a focus on continuous improvementComfortable working under tight timelines and in evolving organizational environmentsFoundational knowledge of data structures Experience using Benchling GxP What to Expect in the Hiring Process:

This is a full-time, onsite position based on a first-shift schedule (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with overtime required as needed. Candidates located within a commutable distance to Cambridge, MA are strongly encouraged to apply.
