About this role
Troubleshoot, develop and perform small molecule analytical methods including UPLC/HPLC. Support formulations group and departmental UPLC/HPLC instrumentation needs.Conduct literature research to optimize small molecule formulations.Perform data analysis and troubleshoot methods and instrumentationPrepare data for presentations and assist in generating technical reportsCollaborate effectively with internal and external groupsInitiate and perform investigations, as neededWrite protocols and technical reports The Ideal Candidate would possess:
Demonstrated success in developing small molecule analytical chemistry methodsExcellent experience operating HPLC/UPLC and analyzing data for analytical methods.Understanding of experimentation and data analysis using Empower software (Version III)Excellent written and verbal communication skills and experience interacting with people from a wide range of skill levels and experienceAbility to communicate complex scientific findings and recommendations in one-on-one discussions and departmental meetingsExcellent technical writing experience such as protocols, reports, and SOPsDemonstrated ability to work as an independent, self-motivated, detail-oriented, result-driven and highly flexible team-player in a fast-paced working environmentStrong computer, scientific, and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail; excellent project management skills including the ability to manage one’s project resource requirements and ability to elevate relevant issues to line-managementAbility to work independently and as part of a team with internal and external clients.Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policiesMinimum Experience:
B.S. degree in a related scientific field and 1-4+ years of experience in an analytical environment, or M.S. degree and 1+ years of experience Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship Position is full-time, onsite Monday- Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm, position is located in Foster City, CAWhat we offer:
