About this role
As an Accounting Intern supporting Accounts Payable (AP) and/or Accounts Receivable (AR), you will play an important role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations. This position offers hands-on experience in core accounting processes, exposure to ERP systems, and collaboration with experienced professionals. You will contribute to maintaining smooth workflows, supporting month-end activities, and assisting the AP and AR teams in achieving operational excellence.
Accounts Payable (AP):
Receive, verify, and process supplier invoices.Ensure timely and accurate posting of invoices.Maintain vendor records and resolve discrepancies.Support month-end closing activities for AP.Provide assistance to the AP team in daily operations, including handling queries and preparing reports.Accounts Receivable (AR):
Prepare and issue customer invoices, follow up on invoice transmission, and send invoices to customers.Record incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts.Monitor outstanding balances and assist with collections.Support month-end closing activities for AR.Provide assistance to the AR team in managing customer accounts and resolving payment issues. Ongoing university studies in economics/finance;IT skills MS Office, SAP FI is a plus;English - Intermediate;German- Advanced,Analytical and logical thinking;Initiative / pro-activeness;Self-motivation, positive attitude;Willingness to work in an international environment;Team player attitude.
