About this role
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join Edgar Wood Academy in a combined role of Daytime Cleaner and Lunchtime Assistant . Working 28.75 hours per week (20.42 hours cleaning and 8.33 hours lunchtime support), term-time plus four weeks , you will play a key role in maintaining a safe, clean and welcoming environment for students, staff and visitors. This varied role combines cleaning and housekeeping responsibilities with supporting the smooth running of the school day during lunchtime. As a Daytime Cleaner, you will undertake general cleaning duties across the academy, including classrooms, corridors and toilet facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, health and safety. As a Lunchtime Assistant, you will help create a positive lunchtime experience for students by promoting good behaviour, supporting student wellbeing and acting as a positive role model.
