The successful candidate must:
Have a knowledge of food preparationBe to lead and motivate staffDemonstrate a willingness and enthusiasm for training and progressionHave an ability to read and complete simple instructions, such as cleaning rota, work rota, temperature and control sheetsBe able to communicate with all kitchen, staff and pupilsDisplay and maintain a high standard of personal hygieneAble to encourage children to select a balanced mealDisplay a commitment to the Trust’s equalities policiesTake charge of the kitchen and the catering staff in the absence of the Kitchen Manager
