About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated IT Specialist – Retread Systems to act as a key liaison between Continental Retread Solutions (CRS) partners, plant operations, internal IT teams, and external development partners. In this role, you will ensure the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of the CLCSoft shop-floor application.
Key Responsibilities
Development & Release Management (40%)
Gather and document requirements for new features and enhancementsTranslate business needs into database designs and specificationsCoordinate development sprints, UAT, and deploymentsManage release processes including version control and documentationValidate system functionalityIncident & Problem Management (25%)
First point of contact for incidentsTroubleshoot EDI/SFTP issuesPerform SQL checks and debuggingConduct root cause analysisDocument incidents and solutionsUser Management & Training (10%)
Manage user access and rolesCreate training materialsConduct remote training sessionsSupport onboarding of new partnersStakeholder & Vendor Management (10%)
Coordinate with development partnersMonitor vendor performance and SLAsCollaborate with AWS and Cybersecurity teamsAlign with Purchasing and internal stakeholdersMaster Data Management (15%)
Maintain system master dataEnsure data integrityEnforce governance standards Required:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field5+ years experience (2+ relevant)Shop-floor IT support experienceStrong analytical and communication skillsVery good English proficiencySQL knowledgeEDI/SFTP experiencePreferred:
Retread manufacturing knowledgeAgile development methods & tools (e.g. JIRA)Basic Spanish proficiencyAdditional Information
