About this role
IOM Ukraine implements several humanitarian Housing and WASH interventions whose aim is to provide a surplus to affordable, modern, and energy-efficient housing stock making it available for accommodation by vulnerable persons among IDPs and residents and improving critical infrastructure under WASH scope. All the upper-mentioned is related to repairs, rehabilitation, reconstruction, and the capital construction activities. The affordable housing project and critical infrastructure are reinforced by the strong communication component and engagement with the communities/municipalities. The project implementation conducted in compliance with the World Bank environmental and social safeguards with a portfolio on humanitarian demining.
