FIRE CODES INSPECTOR I (Fire Rescue) 40 hrs/week Polk County Fire Rescue Administrative Office 1295 Brice Blvd. Bartow, FL 33830 Pay grade: F52 $24.57-$39.77/ hr. $51,109.34-$82,721.18/ yr. *** This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement *** ** This position may require a physical ability/agility test** Must have the physical, developmental, and mental ability to perform job tasks, work efforts, responsibilities and duties of the job illustrated below: MAJOR FUNCTION Conducts fire safety inspections of public facilities (i.e. public assembly, educational, institutional, mercantile, business, industrial, manufacturing, storage, and special hazardous structures). Works directly with the public to provide reliable information on all fire safety issues.
