The Railcar Repair Supervisor Trainee is an early-career development role designed to prepare candidates for a frontline leadership position within railcar repair operations. This role provides structured training, hands-on operational exposure, and mentorship to build the technical, safety, regulatory, and leadership capabilities required to supervise railcar inspection, maintenance, and repair activities at an FMO facility. Under the guidance of experienced supervisors and operations leaders, the trainee will participate in a formalized ramp-up period and progressively assume responsibility for supporting shop operations, promoting safe work practices, understanding regulatory requirements, and developing the skills necessary to lead represented employees in a railcar repair environment.
