About this role
An Occupational Therapist (OT) is a healthcare professional who helps people of all ages develop, recover, or maintain the skills needed for everyday activities. They work with individuals who have physical, mental, developmental, or emotional challenges, using personalized treatment plans to improve independence, mobility, self-care, work, and quality of life. Occupational therapists also recommend adaptive equipment and teach strategies to help people participate fully in daily living, education, work, and leisure activities.
