Honeywell’s Security and Access Solutions business provides high-value security products and services that are critical for buildings around the globe. You will be joining our engineering team to help build a cloud-based unified security solution.
As a Software Engineer, you will join a cross-functional delivery team working on our cloud-based security platform. You will work under the guidance of senior engineers to develop features, fix bugs, and improve the user experience of our products. This role is focused on professional growth, learning best practices in software development, and contributing high-quality code to our modern web applications.
• Implement user interface components and features using JavaScript and TypeScript • Write clean, maintainable code and unit tests for web applications • Collaborate with senior engineers to understand requirements and technical designs • Participate in code reviews to learn from peers and improve coding standards • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving software defects
MUST HAVE
• Bachelor´s degree completed • English proficiency • Willingness to work in Mexico City (Hybrid) • 1 year of experience • Strong knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals • Understanding of modern web development concepts (HTML5, CSS3, DOM manipulation) • Familiarity with React. JS or similar modern frontend frameworks • Understanding of RESTful APIs • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail • Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment WE VALUE
