About this role
The purpose of this role is to assist in the work of salvation and exaltation by providing individual contributor, intermediate level administrative support to one or more leader and/or one or more functional team or work group. Employees at this level work under general supervision and handle moderately complex issues and problems that require solid administrative support working knowledge.
he main responsibilities of this role are to provide courteous, professional, comprehensive administrative and clerical support to the Principal and School Administration as well assist students, parents, staff, visitors and Church leaders. Also attend to the following:
• Manage and maintain the school and Principal's calendars, appointments, meetings, and events.
• Prepare, receive, distribute, and monitor school and Principal correspondence
• Track assignments, deadlines, and ongoing matters to ensure timely completion and that no important tasks are overlooked.
• Arrange meetings, prepare agendas, record minutes, and follow up on action items.
• Maintain accurate filing systems, records, databases, and confidential documents.
• Assist with the preparation of presentations, lesson materials, reports, and administrative documents.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, accommodations, and itineraries as required.
Support school programs, activities, and special projects as assigned.
• Perform other administrative duties as directed by the Principal.
• Some tertiary level education with office admin work experienceMaintain temple worthiness standards
• Possess proficiency in office administration, clerical functions, secretarial support, or related fields developed through education, training, and/or relevant work experience.
• Demonstrate advanced computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
• Be fluent in both English and Kiribati, with strong speaking, reading, writing, and listening skills.
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess strong interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
• Demonstrate the ability to organize work, prioritize multiple tasks, and track assignments through to completion.
• Perform detailed work accurately while maintaining strict confidentiality.
• Be dependable, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Have experience preparing presentations, lesson materials, reports, and correspondence.
• Have experience coordinating travel arrangements and logistics.
• Demonstrate strong time-management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
• Proof of legal right to work in Kiribati.
• Police clearance is required.
