About this role

Duties and Responsibilities:

• When assigned to intake, coordinates the intake process by facilitating and monitoring referrals and assigning PEI Professional Staff to support mandated Child Find regulations (e.g., evaluation reports and IEPs). • When assigned to in-program support, coordinates the delivery of supports and services for students by monitoring staff caseloads, managing the assignment and reassignment of students, and facilitating referrals to additional preschool early intervention resources, ensuring compliance with service delivery requirements and timely student access to appropriate supports. • Represents as the local educational agency in matters related to educational planning for new and continuing students by reviewing Evaluation Report and Reevaluation Reports serving as LEA Representative in IEP meetings, and facilitating the kindergarten transition process in effort to support student achievement and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. • Collaborates with Principal Directors and other administrators to plan, coordinate, and/or present professional development activities to ensure staff are current in new and effective practices, program procedures, laws and regulations. • Represents and promotes the AIU and Preschool Early Intervention by partnering with internal and external stakeholders to establish and maintain relationships that effectively support families and advance student outcomes. Qualifications:

• Level II PDE Certification in Special Education PK-12 or School Speech and Language Pathologist, or Speech and Language Impaired PK-12, or School Psychologist K-12. • Master's degree in special education or related services is preferred. • Minimum of 3 years of experience working in special education or early intervention. • Understanding of federal and state special education laws and regulations. • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook and willingness to experiment with new technologies. • Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, work under pressure, and handle multiple initiatives. • Self-motivator, independent, cooperative, flexible, creative, and responsible. • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with individuals and teams. • Ability to travel across the county and/or state as needed. • Ability to comply with AIU policies and procedures. Additional Requirements:

• Current Act 114, Act 34, Act 151 and NSOR Clearances required prior to an offer (must be dated within 1 year of hire date). • School Personnel Health Record (Form H511.340) must be completed and received by Human Resources prior to hire date.
