ABOUT THE ROLE Your focus as Care Supervisor will be to manage, support and guide a small team within the Care Services team ensuring Avery processes and procedures are followed to the highest standards and ensuring that our residents choices, dignity, independence, and personal safety are at the core of all care and support activity. Other responsibilities will include: Promoting and delivering high quality person-centred care to our residents. Closely monitoring and reporting on residents daily progress, ensuring all observations and interventions are recorded. Dealing with any concerns or complaints raised by residents or relatives in a polite, prompt and appropriate manner as soon as they occur. Providing ongoing support for the residents, their families and the Care Services Team.

Main duties of the job As a Care Supervisor - Nights at Avery Healthcare, your primary role will be to manage, support, and guide a small team within the Care Services team, ensuring that Avery processes and procedures are upheld to the highest standards. Your responsibilities will include promoting and delivering high-quality person-centered care to the residents, closely monitoring and reporting on their daily progress, and promptly and appropriately addressing any concerns or complaints by residents or their relatives. You will also provide ongoing support to the residents, their families, and the Care Services Team. Success in this position requires the demonstration of values such as caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable behavior. The ideal candidate must hold a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or its equivalent, possess a recognised medication administration qualification with experience, and have previous experience in a Senior Care role. It is essential that you exhibit an ability to organize, lead, inspire, and influence a team.

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. A recognised Medication administration qualification and experience. Previous experience in a Senior Care role.
