Job summary
The Vale Medical Practice are looking to welcome a permanent Advanced Nurse Practitioner to our team for 48 sessions per week (flexible and negotiable).
Optional Extended Access sessions: Monday and Wednesday: 5.00pm to 8.00pm and enhanced hourly rate available Why join us? Qualifications Essential
Registered Nurse with current NMC registration MSc Advanced Clinical Practice (or working towards)
Experience Essential
Evidence of ongoing CPD and professional development Annual appraisal and revalidation requirements met
Desirable
Experience working as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care Ability to independently assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic conditions Experience in managing long-term conditions and preventative healthcare Ability to work autonomously whilst recognising limitations and seeking support when appropriate Competence in clinical examination, history taking and clinical decision-making Understanding of safeguarding procedures and professional responsibilities Ability to take responsibility for your own career development, learning and performance and ensure mandatory training remains up to date Awareness of and compliance with relevant practice policies and guidelines, including prescribing, confidentiality, data protection and health and safety requirements Commitment to lifelong learning, audit and quality improvement to ensure evidence-based practice Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centred approach
