An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Manchester Integrative Medical Practice (MIMP), a large, friendly and forward-thinking GP practice serving over 15,000 patients across Longsight and Moss Side.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Physician Associate to join our multidisciplinary team. Whether you are newly qualified or an experienced PA, you will receive excellent clinical supervision, protected learning opportunities and ongoing support from an experienced team of GPs and allied health professionals.

Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will work as part of our multidisciplinary team to:
Undertake face-to-face and telephone consultations. Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting with acute and chronic illness within the Physician Associate scope of practice. Develop management plans in collaboration with supervising GPs. Perform clinical examinations and procedures appropriate to the role. Request and interpret investigations in accordance with local protocols. Participate in chronic disease management and preventative healthcare. Work closely with our wider clinical team, including GPs, nurses, pharmacists, healthcare assistants, mental health practitioners and social prescribing teams. Contribute to quality improvement projects and service development. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
MSc/Postgraduate Diploma in Physician Associate Studies. Current registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible).
Experience Essential
MSc/Postgraduate Diploma in Physician Associate Studies. Current registration with the General Medical Council (or eligible). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. Enthusiasm for learning and professional development.
Desirable
Experience working within primary care. Experience managing patients with long-term conditions. Interest in quality improvement, teaching or clinical research. Experience working with diverse and underserved populations.
