About this role

We are seeking an experienced Planning Officer to join the Strategic Planning and Performance (SPP) department, a small and friendly team that leads institution-wide strategic planning and the annual planning cycle, providing expert information and advice to senior colleagues to support long-term decision-making.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, the post holder will be responsible for coordinating the annual planning process, preparing templates, collating information, scheduling meetings, recording and monitoring actions and decisions. They will provide governance support to executive committees, and they will support planning and delivery of change projects across the University on a variety of initiatives.

This is a great development opportunity to work in a team tasked with shaping the future of the University. The Planning Officer will interact with colleagues across the University, including the Executive Team and Heads of School, and they will work closely with the Director of SPP to ensure processes and procedures are in place, including maintaining risk logs and reporting against key performance indicators, to deliver an integrated strategic planning process.

We encourage applications from a diverse range of applicants.
