Springfield Public Schools is seeking motivated, reliable individuals for temporary summer employment in our Facilities Department for the 2026 summer season. If you enjoy hands-on work, being part of a team, and making a visible impact in your community, this is a great opportunity to get involved. We are hiring multiple team members to support a variety of essential summer projects, including:
• Painting
• Grounds Maintenance
• Furniture
• HVAC Support
• Locksmith Assistance
• Special Projects
Position Details:
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: 6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. (8.0 hours/day)
• Dates: May 1, 2025 – August 31, 2025 (flexible start dates based on availability)
• Location: Various Springfield Public Schools sites
• Rate of Pay: $20.65 per hour
