• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Must be able to obtain and maintain an Unarmed CLEET Security License.

• Successful completion of background checks and all district-required screenings.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact effectively with a diverse population.

• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions under pressure.

• Physical ability to perform regular patrols and respond to emergencies.

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or school safety preferred.

• Demonstrated competence for human relationship and personal communication skills.

• Satisfy all district requirements with regard to physical health and citizenship.

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

Position Goal: Serve as a key member of the Jenks Public Schools Campus Police Department, working to ensure the safety and security of the Central Campus community. This non-commissioned, uniformed position supports district-wide safety initiatives by maintaining a visible security presence, responding to incidents, assisting with traffic and crowd control, and providing support to students, staff, and visitors. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Patrol assigned areas of campus on foot, by vehicle, cart, or bicycle to deter and detect unsafe or unauthorized behavior.

• Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, or emergency calls for service.

• Assist with traffic direction, parking enforcement, and vehicle-related issues on campus.

• Provide crosswalk coverage and support arrival/dismissal safety procedures.

• Support safety needs at special events, school functions, and during emergencies.

• Collaborate with the Jenks Public Schools Police Department and campus staff to maintain effective safety communication.

• Monitor physical security concerns and report issues related to access control, lighting, and facilities.

• Serve as a resource to students, staff, and visitors by providing information, directions, and general assistance.

• Work closely with Central Campus Administrators to promote a safe and secure educational environment.

• May be assigned duties at other locations within the district based on operational needs.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Occasional Requirements: Reach with hands and arms overhead, above shoulder and horizontally; lift/move up to 40 pounds. Visual Requirements: Close, color, peripheral, depth perception, ability to adjust focus. Hearing/Speaking Requirements: Adequate to exchange information.
